CHRISTMAS PLAY A GREAT SUCCESS!
'It's a Baby' extravaganza plays to a full House!
December saw the school production of 'It's a Baby' play to fantastic audiences over two days.
The play involved every single pupil from the school and Nursery putting on a fantastic performance of singing, dancing and acting.
The first nights production, featuring a lit stage, played to a packed house of over 160 people, all of whom seemed to go away happy and suitably impressed at the high standards of acting and singing.
A huge well done to all the staff and pupils whose enormous amount of hard work from as early as August contributed to a very successful production. Particular thanks need to go to Keith and Alan, our community 'guests', whose star turns as The Donkey and Princess Fiona brought the house down! A special Thanks You must also go to Avril for her hard work in selling the tickets, and to Alison for preparing such wonderful costumes.
Rumours abound of a combined school production next year - it will have to be something special to top this one!
The play, a very 'loose' interpretation of the nativity, was punctuated by the various classes performing song and dance routines, and climaxed with a series of toe tapping numbers featuring the entire cast.
Following the huge success of the opening night, demand was such that a repeat performance was laid on the following morning for those people who had not been able to make the previous night!
