Mallaig Primary Wins £4000 Supergrounds Award!
APPLICATION FOR ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND AWARD IS SUCCESSFUL.
On almost the last day of the last school year, Mallaig Primary received the wonderful news that it had been awarded a £4000 Royal Bank of Scotland Supergrounds award. This award followed months of work and preparation by the whole school in order to submit the application, and particular thanks and congratulations must go to Mary Kordiak who led the application process.
Mallaig Primary will be one of the last schools in Scotland to receive this funding, which is aimed at improving school grounds in order to create a better working environment for both children and staff.
Plans are now being put into place to move forward with these funds and include the creating of a Supergrounds committee to manage the project, and an initial visit from a Royal Bank of Scotland representative.
We have created a Supergrounds project page on this website in order that you can keep up to date with the latest happenings, and we will shortly be publishing further details regarding both the project and the schools plans. If you would like an overview of the Supergrounds project then please feel free to visit their website:-
