NEW POLICE SERGEANT VISITS THE SCHOOL!

SERGEANT NICK SPEAKS TO THE CHILDREN AT SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

September the 4th saw Mallaig’s new police Sergeant visit the school to talk to the children during assembly. Sergeant Nick, who recently took over the post from Sergeant Bidulph, introduced himself to the children and then went on to give a talk about road safety.

Sergeant Nick was then given the responsibility of choosing the newest member of our Eco Council. Several of the children gave presentations outlining why they felt they should be chosen, after which the Sergeant was asked to choose the best candidate for the post. All candidates gave an excellent account of themselves, but in the end Emily was chosen to join the Eco Council. A big well done to all those who participated, and a big thank you to Sergeant Nick for taking the time to come and speak to us.
